Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: New Jersey/New York, US
Reporting To: Head HR - North Americas
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in New Jersey/New York. The HRBP will work closely with senior leadership and business leaders to align human resources strategies with business objectives, ensuring the company's talent management and organizational development needs are met. This role requires a strong understanding of the IT industry, employee engagement, and the ability to drive change in a fast-paced and growing
organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Support:
o Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support
business goals and drive organizational growth.
o Provide guidance and coaching to managers on people-related matters, such as
performance management, team dynamics, and leadership development.
o Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
2. Talent Management:
o Lead the recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring that the company attracts top
talent for key technical and leadership roles.
o Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires integrate smoothly into the
company's culture and operations.
o Support succession planning, talent reviews, and career development initiatives.
3. Employee Relations:
o Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing support
in conflict resolution and fostering a positive work environment.
o Ensure compliance with all relevant US labour laws, immigration laws and
regulations.
o Lead efforts to create and maintain a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
4. Performance Management:
o Support managers in setting clear performance expectations and managing
performance reviews.
o Guide leaders on implementing performance improvement plans, coaching, and
feedback.
5. Learning and Development:
o Partner with leaders to identify skills gaps and develop training programs tailored to
the needs of the business.
o Promote ongoing professional development opportunities for employees to enhance
technical and leadership competencies.
6. Change Management:
o Lead change management efforts for organizational transformations, ensuring
smooth transitions and strong communication throughout the process.
o Foster a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement within the
organization.
7. Data-Driven Decision Making:
o Analyse HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations to
leadership on areas such as turnover, employee engagement, and organizational
health.
o Use data to drive HR process improvements and optimize workforce strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR
certification, such as CHRP, is a plus).
- Up to 10 years with at least 4+ years of experience in an HRBP or generalist role, preferably
within the IT or technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of US employment laws, HR best practices, and HR technology systems.
- Proven experience in managing talent acquisition and recruitments, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build
relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills are an asset).
- Experience with change management and driving organizational transformation is highly desirable.
