Your tasks

• Independent planning and implementation of comprehensive ERP projects for new and existing customers
• Leading complex ERP projects, including the professional management of internal teams and serving as the main contact for decision-makers on the customer side
• Project planning and definition of project scope in close coordination with customers and sales
• Sales support through the analysis of customer requirements and the development of tailored solution concepts for preparing offers
• Negotiation of project content and framework conditions, particularly regarding scope, timeline and effort
• Management of project teams at German as well as nearshore and offshore locations
• Coordination of external partners and service providers
• Building and maintaining trusting customer relationships
• Creating detailed project plans, including effort, time, function and budget planning
• Coordinating the implementation of complex project plans and ensuring the agreed project goals are met
• Commercial and professional management of the entire project lifecycle
• Independent handling of change and additional claims management
• Ensuring quality and project success through continuous progress monitoring, risk analysis, complete documentation and ongoing optimisation of project planning
• Active knowledge sharing within the Abas PM Community

Your profile

• A degree or vocational training in commercial, business or information technology fields, supplemented by solid knowledge and several years of experience in managing IT projects, ideally ERP projects
• Strong communication and consulting skills, and the ability to purposefully guide project stakeholders in complex project undertakings
• Experience in change management; a relevant background through training, further education and/or professional experience is an advantage
• Ideally, knowledge of the production and manufacturing sectors
• A methodical, solution-oriented and independent way of working
• High abstraction ability and strong argumentation and persuasion skills, particularly in complex contexts
• Very good to native German language skills and good English skills for internal company communication
• Willingness to develop personally and professionally and to learn proactively
• Flexibility with working hours and enjoyment of collaborating in interdisciplinary teams
