At WSP, we contribute to lasting transformation of regions. By joining one of the world's leading engineering firms, you take part in ambitious missions in transport, infrastructure, buildings, environment, water, energy and industry.

Our strength lies in combining local presence, recognised technical expertise and an international network, to devise sustainable and innovative solutions in response to climate, societal and technological challenges.

Joining WSP means becoming part of an ambitious, collaborative and forward-looking company, where every talent can contribute, learn, grow and make a difference.

Your mission: contribute to projects that matter

As part of the development of our business, we are looking for an Electrical Manager based in Paris, to lead our electrical team and contribute to complex building projects that lastingly transform regions.

Within our Buildings division, made up of a multidisciplinary team of around one hundred professionals, you will lead a team of LV/LV engineers and electrical designers and take on project management and technical engineering assignments, from design through to delivery of public and private buildings: office, healthcare, industrial, data centre and public facilities.

You will be at once a hands-on manager, a technical reference point and a contributor to production.

Your responsibilities

1. Management - Growing your team

· Supervise, coach and support a team of 4 people made up of engineers, technicians and designers.

· Develop the skills of team members and keep know-how aligned with market needs.

· Conduct annual reviews, manage workloads and support the structuring of the division.

· Handle day-to-day administrative matters: leave, internal organisation and various approvals.

· Act as the technical and operational reference point for the team.

2. Directly contributing to studies and projects

· Carry out design studies: calculation notes, power balances, sizing and technical specifications (CCTP).

· Oversee the production of plans, diagrams and BIM models in liaison with designers.

· Estimate the works costs of the packages you are responsible for.

· Analyse contractor bids, take part in finalising contracts and ensure approval of execution drawings.

3. Site monitoring

· Assist the project manager during the construction phase.

· Verify compliance of LV/LV installations up to handover of the works.

· Act as the technical point of support on electrical matters: LV distribution, generators, switchboards, lighting, SSI, security and BMS.

4. Technical and development - Driving the electrical vision

· Ensure technical and regulatory monitoring: fire safety, regulations and business software such as CANECO and DIALux.

· Contribute to the development of the electrical activity within the Buildings division.

· Promote cross-functional collaboration with other divisions: HVAC, structure, hydraulics, BIM and environment.

Your future team: You will join a multidisciplinary, expert and committed team of around one hundred professionals, where knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional development are part of everyday life.

Our culture: We prioritise transparency, trust and mutual support in order to create an environment in which everyone can speak up, contribute and see their ideas valued.

The Visioneer you are: every career path is unique

At WSP, we seek curious, committed talent motivated by meaningful projects. You will find a stimulating environment here to develop your skills, share your ideas and build a career path that suits you.

This role is made for you if you recognise yourself in the following criteria:

· Engineering degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent training.

· At least 10 years' experience in engineering, project management or design offices, on LV/LV missions in design and works supervision.

· A first experience in management or strong managerial potential.

· Excellent interpersonal, written and organisational skills.

· Curiosity, autonomy, rigour and open-mindedness.

· A good command of English, level B2.

· Knowledge of SSI, ERP regulations, lifting equipment and security systems.

· Proficiency in CANECO, DIALux or equivalent software.

What this role will bring you: This opportunity will allow you to grow a team, carry the technical vision of the electrical activity and have a direct impact on the quality of projects and on the development of the division.

You wish to put your leadership at the service of teams, clients and the development of the business. In this role, you will support colleagues in their success, build relationships of trust with clients and contribute to the growth of the company. You will rely on your understanding of technical issues, your strategic vision and your ability to mobilise the various stakeholders to help projects succeed.
