Where will you land?

GCC INDUSTRIE IDF carries out bespoke works, public or private, new-build or renovated, across all sectors of industrial construction. Come and take part in delivering large-scale projects as general contractor and/or design-build on new works, or in rehabilitation/restructuring.

What you will face: highly technical sites (enough to keep you thinking), strong environmental, societal and human impacts, short reporting lines, quick decisions, autonomy and accountability.

And the position?

The position: Principal Site Manager GO

Based in: Ile-de-France

Reporting line: under the authority of a Works Group Manager (or a higher position depending on the operation).

You take charge of part or all of an operation and lead an extended team, including site managers whom you train and develop.

What you will do with us:

• Lead the analysis of the tender file and validate, with your site managers and the methods department, the site organisation and the execution programme.

• Review and approve supplier and subcontractor choices, and ensure the proper execution of works across all your operations.

• Gather the technical and financial information needed to build a claim.

• Take part in recruiting your team and ensure the induction and training of the staff under your responsibility.

• Act as a delegated authority for prevention: you put safety at the heart of your organisational decisions.

• Pass on your experience to your staff and prepare the technical and managerial succession of your team.

• You hold a higher education qualification in the construction field

• Your first site dates back more than 5 years and you are ready to manage a project autonomously

• You see management through leading by example and have a strong taste for training and handing on knowledge

• You are able to arbitrate and commit to technical and financial choices

• Rigour is your greatest quality in the administrative, budgetary and HR management of your teams
