- Attend and contribute to client meetings, design team meetings, planning consultations and site meetings.
- Apply sound technical judgement to ensure compliance with current Building Regulations, British Standards and industry best practice.
- Manage workload effectively to meet agreed quality, fee and programme targets, identifying and escalating risks where appropriate.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring support to junior team members and contribute to internal design reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Actively engage with sustainability and low-carbon design principles in line with Barker Associates’ commitment to responsible development.
- ARB registered Architect with RIBA Part 3 qualification.
- Demonstrable post-qualification experience delivering projects across RIBA Stages 0–7.
