Senior Consultant - Business Analyst Credit and Capital Management

Shape the transformation of the lending business through solid business analysis, process optimisation and effective support in implementation.

Your Role

As Senior Consultant - Business Analyst in Credit & Capital Management, you take a central role in implementing complex transformation initiatives for leading financial institutions. You apply your expertise across the entire credit process to analyse requirements, design target processes and translate business requirements into actionable solutions. The role combines specialist analysis with close collaboration across business, technology, risk and operations teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Analysis and documentation of business requirements along the credit processes (origination, assessment, decision, settlement, monitoring and restructuring)
• Development of specialist concepts, process models, user stories and functional specifications for initiatives in credit and capital management
• Translation of specialist requirements into clear technical specifications, particularly in the areas of data, workflows and system integration
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to improve efficiency, control mechanisms and user experience
• Support of implementation in waterfall and agile projects, including testing, UAT coordination and stakeholder alignment

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services environment, ideally in credit, lending or corporate banking
• In-depth understanding of credit processes, including financial spreading, risk assessment, credit approval, collateral, limits and monitoring
• Experience in transformation projects focusing on credit processes, operating models or supporting technology systems
• Knowledge of regulatory and risk-related topics in credit and capital management (e.g. Basel, IFRS 9, internal credit policies)
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in complex project environments
• Fluent German and English, and willingness to travel

Nice to have

• Experience in large-scale transformation programmes in banking or consulting
• Knowledge of credit risk data, reporting or management information systems
• Familiarity with process modelling or requirements management tools, as well as data analysis methods
• Experience in international project environments
