About the role
We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Fertility Director to lead the clinical, operational, and research excellence for a premier fertility and IVF chain. The successful candidate will be a distinguished leader in reproductive medicine, responsible for driving high success rates, overseeing sophisticated laboratory operations, fostering a culture of innovation, and upholding the highest ethical standards in patient care.
You will act as the pivotal leader connecting clinical strategy, operational efficiency, and cutting-edge academic research, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of the fertility industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Leadership & Governance

- Clinical Excellence: Maintain ultimate accountability for IUI and IVF success rates. Implement rigorous audits, define treatment protocols, and ensure "clinical justice" and ethical care for every couple.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure optimal utilization of clinician time and monitor key metrics, including IVF conversions, revenue, and costs.
- Clinical Standards: Establish a clinical advisory committee to define, monitor, and update treatment protocols, ensuring the adoption of the latest global best practices.
2. Laboratory & Operational Excellence
- Andrology & Embryology Oversight: Define and enforce SOPs for both labs to ensure superior TATs, equipment upkeep, and continuous process improvements.
- Upskilling: Drive a culture of continuous learning through regular training, the introduction of newer instruments, and the implementation of advanced protocols.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, manage, and collaborate with external partners for specialized diagnostic services (e.g., PGTA, ERA) and holistic care initiatives.
3. Innovation & Strategy
- Efficiency Goals: Lead initiatives to proactively "reduce time-to-conceive" and "reduce cost-to-conceive."
- Technological Integration: Identify and implement innovative technologies and process changes to enhance the overall patient experience.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal research bodies and external partners to integrate cutting-edge innovations into daily clinical practice.
4. Academics, Research & Industry Presence
- Research Culture: Drive academic rigor by setting KRAs for the clinical and embryology teams to promote a research-focused environment.
- Publications: Oversee the production of high-quality research papers for publication in reputable, high-impact journals.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the organization at national and international conferences and seminars, actively contributing to the reputation and clinical expertise of the institution.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Academic Background: MBBS with a post-graduate degree (MS/DNB) and specialized certification in Reproductive Medicine (FRM).
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive clinical and leadership experience within the fertility/IVF sector.
- Operational Acumen: Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary teams and oversee complex laboratory workflows.
- Strategic Vision: A balance of medical excellence and business intelligence, with a focus on profitability, cost management, and operational efficiency.
- Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and lead clinical and laboratory experts.
