Contract type: CDI (permanent contract)

Location: Aix-en-Provence - Draguignan - Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume - Toulon

Convinced that photovoltaic solar energy is one of the major solutions for meeting humanity's energy needs in a lasting and responsible way, the Urbasolar Group has been dedicated to its large-scale deployment for more than 15 years in France and Europe. A subsidiary of the Swiss energy company Axpo (6,000 employees worldwide), we produce renewable, decarbonised and competitive electricity. To do so, we design, develop, build and operate high-performance and innovative photovoltaic installations.

Do you enjoy working in the field and contributing concretely to the energy transition? Join Urbasolar and take part in the sustainable performance of our photovoltaic power plants, within a committed and supportive team.

Your missions:

  • Carry out preventive maintenance work (inspections, measurements, equipment upkeep, operational checks) on the power plants in the operated portfolio

  • Carry out planned corrective maintenance work (equipment replacement, rectifications) and retrofit (inverters, modules, predictive maintenance), as well as testing and recommissioning

  • Supervise and check the proper execution of work carried out by contractors, in compliance with health, safety and environmental rules, and with the defined quality standards

  • Write intervention reports using the CMMS tool provided

  • Support the Construction teams during pre-commissioning and commissioning checks of the power plants at the end of site works

  • Configure and test inverters and monitoring equipment, with the support of suppliers and the relevant internal departments

Your profile:

  • You have good knowledge of electricity and of safety related to maintenance activities - this latter point is essential for this role

  • You have already carried out preventive maintenance activities, ideally in renewable energies or industrial electricity

  • You are comfortable using IT tools and maintenance software (such as CMMS)

  • You know how to supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors

  • Ideally, you have some first experience in corrective maintenance or in managing environmental emergency situations

  • Even if you do not tick every box, your motivation and desire to learn interest us: we would be happy to consider your application

About the team:

You will join a dynamic and supportive field team, where everyone can count on their colleagues. We value diversity of backgrounds and skills, in a spirit of cooperation and continuous improvement.
