The Merchant Experience team is an organisation that innovates and solves problems across the entire merchant (business owner) experience, from onboarding through growth to sales. It comprehensively analyses merchant, customer and delivery data to define root causes and improve processes and products.

The Merchant Experience team Program Manager accelerates the growth of Coupang Eats with data-driven insights while proactively managing the diverse internal and external risks that arise in a rapidly changing business environment.

Responsibilities

• Business Analytics: Analyse raw merchant, customer and delivery data to identify service improvement points and business growth insights

• Business Operation: Plan new processes to improve the merchant experience (onboarding to sales) and lead projects to completion (Ownership)

• Risk Management & Executive Support:  Prevent and manage diverse risks that may arise internally or externally

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant departments across strategy, legal, PR, development, finance and other domains to build structures that enable rapid execution

Requirements

• Candidates with 10+ years of experience in planning, data analysis, business operations or related fields
• Candidates with experience forming hypotheses based on data, analysing causes and deriving actionable improvement plans
• Candidates with experience using SQL directly in their work to extract and analyse large-scale data and define problems
• Candidates with experience successfully completing projects with strong ownership.
• Candidates with high-level communication skills who lead collaboration with relevant departments across strategy, legal, PR, development, finance and other domains to enable rapid execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• A ‘business-minded analyst’ who goes beyond simple data output to deeply understand and think through the business context and the field

• Candidates with experience using SQL directly in their work to extract and analyse large-scale data and define problems

• Candidates with experience in data analysis or work automation using Python
• Candidates with experience in business operations and risk management in fast-growing environments such as platform, O2O, commerce, delivery or fintech

Document Return Policy

2. Applicants who are not selected in the final decision may request the return of recruitment documents submitted in accordance with the Act on Fair Hiring Procedures. However, this does not apply to documents submitted via the website or email, or documents voluntarily submitted without the company’s request. 3.
