WHAT IS BOX?
About Box
Box (NYSE: BOX) is a leading intelligent content management (ICM) platform company. Box's platform aims to enable businesses to enhance collaboration, manage the entire content lifecycle, protect critical content and transform business workflows with enterprise AI. Founded in the United States in 2005, Box supports major global companies including JLL and Morgan Stanley, and in Japan it has helped about 19,000 companies, including 76% of the companies in the Nikkei 225, improve operational efficiency.
Box is headquartered in Redwood City, California, and has offices in the United States, Europe and Asia. Box Japan K.K. is the Japanese subsidiary, established in 2013.
Box has an unparalleled opportunity to further advance its platform for handling critical content and to deliver major transformation in how our customers work. Content is at the centre of our business. Billions of files and pieces of information flow every day through critical cross-departmental business processes such as contracts, invoices, employee records, financial information, product specifications and marketing assets. Our mission is to bring intelligence to content management and help customers achieve digital transformation. At Box, you can contribute at the forefront of this period of large-scale change in how people work, where AI meets vast amounts of business content.
WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
The mission of the Box Consulting Team is to 'guide' customers to the new face of document management in the cloud. We define the goals for digitalising document management and content-centred work, create the roadmap to achieve that transformation, and strongly support its realisation.
The Box Consulting Team is recruiting implementation consultants who will use their technology and consulting skills to deliver our customers' digital transformation and play a part, together with us, in achieving the team's mission.
It is no exaggeration to say that content is used across every part of a company's business, and Box has the potential to transform all business operations. Because the change it brings is so broad, it requires appropriate goal-setting, design and a strategy for embedding adoption.
In this role, you will take the customer's perspective when new and existing customers deploy the Box platform, paint a picture of their ideal content management in the cloud, and deliver their transformation.
Implementation consultants work closely with customers' stakeholders to manage project progress and provide professional advice on customers' business and technology with a high level of expertise. You will be responsible, project by project, from the start to the completion of initial implementation projects, through to ongoing adoption activities and expansion of use. You will be responsible for project management from concept development through understanding business requirements and use cases, to executing deliverables while controlling scope.
Implementation consultants manage multiple customer projects simultaneously and work with members of other Box teams to make those projects a success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
・Lead the implementation for new Box customers, including project planning and project resource management
・Reliably execute, for each customer, the concept development, initial implementation support and adoption plans
・Manage project progress, issues and risks, and resources appropriately, and report status to stakeholders
・Understand customers' use cases and requirements, apply Box's enterprise and industry best practices, and advise customers on design and configuration
・Troubleshoot customer problems during implementation
・Support customers' large-scale data migration projects
・Propose end-to-end solutions to customers that take into account the integration of Box and third-party products
・Work with sales to create scopes, estimates and statements of work for new projects
・Work with the sales and CSM teams to develop plans for each customer to make Box the core of their business IT systems, and plan for future revenue growth
・Capture customer voices and feed them back internally to improve Box's services
Box places great importance on community and face-to-face collaboration. Box employees (Boxers) are required to work in the office at least three days a week. During the selection process, our recruiters will explain in more detail how we work and our company culture.
