As part of the development of our business, we are looking for a Head of HVAC / Building Services, based in Paris 12e, to lead and develop a committed team at the heart of ambitious projects.
You will work on design and technical engineering assignments, from design through to delivery, for public and private buildings: premium offices, hospitals, data centres and public facilities, mainly for private clients. You will play a key role in structuring the division, supporting engineers and the technical success of complex and varied projects.
· Team management and division development: lead a multidisciplinary team of 5 to 10 people and foster their skills development.
· Technical expertise and excellence: ensure the quality of studies and the proper execution of projects, from APS (preliminary design) to handover of works.
Your responsibilities
In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Management: lead, coach and support on a day-to-day basis a multidisciplinary team of 5 to 10 people in HVAC, plumbing, special fluids and medical fluids.
Develop the skills of engineers and technicians, keep their expertise aligned with market needs and act as their technical and operational point of reference.
Conduct annual appraisals, contribute to structuring the team and manage administrative matters: expense claims, leave and internal organisation.
Production: carry out technical design studies with the project manager, the architecture teams, the AMO and the client's consultants; prepare thermal assessments, calculation notes and sizing of installations.
Write technical notes and CCTPs (technical specifications), then work with draughtspeople on producing plans and diagrams, from APS to DCE (tender documentation).
Assess the cost of works, analyse contractors' tenders, take part in finalising contracts and approve execution studies.
Technical: assist the project manager during site supervision, verify the compliance of installations and follow works through to handover, while providing technical support on heating, air conditioning, plumbing, special and medical fluids, BMS and fire protection systems.
Your future team: you will take responsibility for a multidisciplinary team of 5 to 10 engineers and technicians, expert in HVAC, plumbing, special fluids and medical fluids. You will work in an environment where knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional development are part of everyday life.
Our culture: we value transparency, trust and mutual support to create an environment where everyone can speak up, contribute and see their ideas valued.

Engineering degree or Master 2 in building services engineering.
At least 10 years' experience in project design management, design and site supervision of HVAC and plumbing packages.
Strong team management, communication and leadership skills.

Rigour, curiosity, open-mindedness, professional conscientiousness and a taste for teamwork.
Fluent English.
What this role will bring you: this opportunity will allow you to combine hands-on management, technical expertise and business structuring, with a direct impact on the success of complex projects and on the development of a multidisciplinary team.
