Business Development Manager - AI for Software Engineering

You will be responsible for:

Business development and commercial activity

Develop business by taking part in acquiring new clients and defining new opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence applied to the software life cycle (AI for Software Engineering).

Take part in sales processes, leading the value proposition and the construction of offers in this area, in coordination with technical and delivery teams.

Drive specific commercial initiatives aimed at the adoption of solutions based on governed copilots and agents applied to software development.

Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities with current and new clients, contributing to the growth of the pipeline associated with this cross-cutting line.

Strategy and portfolio management.

Take part in defining the commercial and growth strategy associated with AI for Software Engineering, aligned with the company's overall strategy.

Co-define, together with operations teams and other Business Lines, the portfolio of services and offerings in this area, structured around services such as:

- Governance of copilots and agents

- AI-assisted code generation, review and modernisation

- QA and AI-assisted test automation

- Optimisation of the software life cycle through AI

Identify market needs and trends, contributing to the continuous evolution of the portfolio.

Partner and ecosystem management

Manage the relationship with relevant technology partners for this line, both existing and new.

Collaborate with managers of other Business Lines in managing established partners.

Identify, develop and consolidate new strategic alliances specific to the field of AI applied to software development.

Take part in co-selling initiatives and joint development of opportunities with technology partners.

Internal coordination and cross-functionality

Act as a reference in the field of AI for Software Engineering within the organisation, working across multiple LoBs.

Coordinate with technical teams (BTS) responsible for designing and delivering the services, mainly taking part in pre-sales and solution definition phases.

Establish synergies with other Business Lines to ensure coherent positioning within the global portfolio.

Financial and operational management

Collaborate in defining and managing the budget associated with this line of activity, monitoring achievement of objectives.

Contribute to developing the annual operating plan within your area of responsibility.

Marketing and communication

Identify and take part in events, initiatives and activities related to Artificial Intelligence applied to software development, in collaboration with the Marketing and Communication department.

Support the generation of content and the company's positioning in this area.

To join our team, we expect from you:

• Experience in business development, pre-sales or similar positions within the technology field.

• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), and in carrying it out.

• Knowledge of trends in Artificial Intelligence applied to software development, copilots, agents and automation.

• Experience in environments that combine technical and commercial capabilities.

• Valuable experience in technology consulting

• Multidisciplinary profile with technical and business experience.

• Ability to conceptualise solutions aligned with client needs.

• Ability to liaise with clients at both technical and business level.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Leadership capability in cross-functional environments.

• Initiative, proactivity and results orientation.

• Interest in innovation and market trends.

• At least 10 years of experience, valuable in consulting/technology.

• Fluent English for a professional environment. Other languages valued.
