As a Security DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with security specialists from many fields and continuously improve service operation processes based on support cases and operational experience. Through this, you will build and manage operational playbooks and share best practices with related operations teams, helping to raise overall operational maturity. You will also collect and analyse operational metrics and derive engineering-driven improvements that raise operational efficiency and quality. Coupang manages Service Level Objectives (SLOs) on a data-driven operational culture and measures service performance using Service Level Indicators (SLIs). Accordingly, you will collect and analyse event data and perform Root Cause Analysis to help security and privacy services consistently achieve their target SLOs.
- Respond to and analyse support requests for security and privacy services
- Diagnose the work required to meet the SLO/SLI targets of security and privacy services
- Take part in writing operational playbooks to support end users
- Build dashboards to measure service operation quality and actionable metrics
- Set service thresholds and respond to alerts when SLO/SLI targets are missed
- Work effectively with users to resolve their enquiries and share experience to improve service quality
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams through efficient communication
- Improve security processes to strengthen the company’s security posture, taking into account company-wide processes and requirements
- 10+ years of information security experience, or 8+ years of DevOps experience backed by a strong interest in cybersecurity
- Experience supporting the operation of security services (vulnerability scanning, data security, IAM, etc.)
- Skills in analysing large volumes of data or logs to support decision-making
- Ability to write technical support materials and documentation for end users and engineers
- Experience with automation and scripting using Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.
- Positive work attitude• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of AWS operations
- Knowledge of container environments (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
