About the role

Translated into English from French by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

About Panora

Panora is an AI-native platform for insurance brokers. Our AI agents automate high-friction workflows, quoting, contract comparison, coverage analysis, compliance checks, document generation, and produce structured, actionable results in minutes rather than hours.

We support brokerage firms in France and Belgium, with a clear conviction: insurance brokerage has been operationally dysfunctional for decades, and AI is finally the right tool to fix it. AI is no longer optional for brokers: it is becoming the standard. The question is no longer whether, but how well it is implemented.

Panora was founded by Diane and Fabian. Diane spent several years in venture capital with strong operational experience and knows from the inside the challenges of scaling complex businesses. Fabian is a serial founder and product-focused AI engineer, a pioneer in building AI systems that really work in production. Together, they decided to create Panora to turn insurance operations into a real-time competitive advantage for brokers.

Panora is backed by Hexa (formerly eFounders), the pioneering startup studio in Europe, which has launched more than 35 companies, including unicorns such as Front, Aircall and Spendesk.

Why this role exists

We have built AI that reads contracts, compares coverages and generates coverage analyses at scale. The technology works. We now need someone who will make it brilliant: someone meticulous enough to catch every gap, experienced enough to know what really matters in a policy, and curious enough to want to shape the AI from the inside.

You will be Panora's insurance brain, the person who reviews what our AI produces, verifies every summary, and feeds your expertise back into the system so it keeps improving. This is a unique opportunity to experience AI transformation from the inside and actively help build the future of brokerage.

Your responsibilities

  • Verifying AI outputs, contract by contract. You review the summaries, coverage analyses and recommendations generated by our AI. You check their accuracy, correct errors and ensure that every output meets the standard a broker would stake their reputation on. Your meticulous eye is the last line of defence before outputs reach clients.

  • The feedback loop that makes our AI smarter. You identify patterns in what the AI gets right and wrong. You work with the product and engineering teams to feed your insurance expertise back into the system: improving prompts, refining reasoning, encoding the nuances that only years of experience allow you to grasp.

  • Client support and trust. You support client onboarding and day-to-day use, helping brokers understand and trust the AI's outputs. When questions arise, you bring the credibility and expertise needed to explain, reassure or correct.

  • Insurance expertise in P&C and Health. You bring in-depth expertise in property and casualty (P&C) insurance and health insurance: the two pillars of our current product. You master their specifics and ensure our AI handles both with precision.

Your profile

  • Experience as a broker, underwriter, or in a technical coverage analysis role

  • In-depth expertise in P&C and/or health insurance: you know these products inside out

  • Meticulous by nature: you are the person who spots the exclusion buried on page 47

  • You read a contract and immediately identify what matters, what is missing, and what could harm a client

  • You write clearly and can explain complex insurance concepts to non-experts

  • You are genuinely curious about what AI is changing for our sector, and enthusiastic about experiencing and contributing to it from the inside

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and value the craft of insurance over the comfort of routine

  • Fluent French; English is a plus

This role is for you if

  • You have spent years mastering insurance and want to encode that expertise into a product that transforms the industry

  • The idea of experiencing AI transformation from the inside excites you, not just using tools, but building them

  • You are meticulous, rigorous, and take pride in doing things well

  • You enjoy supporting clients and helping them succeed

  • You want to join early enough to shape what AI-assisted brokerage should be

This role is not for you if

  • You are looking for a traditional brokerage position with a client portfolio and sales targets

  • You prefer routine to building from scratch

  • Details bore you

What makes this role unique

  • You are joining at a stage where the product is young enough for your expertise to directly shape its intelligence

  • You will verify and improve AI outputs in P&C, Health, and beyond as we expand

  • You are part of the feedback loop that makes our AI continuously smarter

  • You experience AI transformation from the inside, a rare vantage point in the sector

  • You are a founding member of a team building the AI operating system for European brokers. This means real ownership, real impact, and a trajectory that grows with Panora.

Why join us

  • Founder-level responsibility and direct impact on the product

  • Your insurance expertise becomes the product's intelligence

  • A front-row seat to the AI transformation of insurance, seen from the inside

  • An intense learning curve at the intersection of insurance and AI

  • A competitive compensation package, including equity

  • Work from Hexa's offices alongside founders, operators and other early-stage startups

Recruitment process

  1. Intro call with Hexa's Talent team (30 minutes)

  2. Fit call with Diane to understand your background and expertise (30 minutes)

  3. A real insurance scenario: review an AI-generated summary, identify the gaps and explain how you would improve the output (to be done at home + 45-minute debrief with Diane and Fabian)

  4. A meeting with Fabien (CTO)

  5. An interview with Matthieu, Partner at Hexa

Panora is committed to building a diverse environment. All qualified candidates will be considered regardless of gender, origin, identity, background or sexual orientation.

We know there is still much to do on diversity in our sector, which is why we encourage all applications, particularly from under-represented backgrounds.
