We are looking for a railway project manager for Trafikverket.

This is a consultancy assignment. Station location is Luleå.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places great demands on flexibility and ability to cooperate.

The assignment

We are looking for a railway project manager for general railway to Trafikverket's project Boden C Marshalling Yard Renovation.

The assignment involves supporting the project manager in preparing tender documentation, construction documents and carrying out the contract. The focus is on financial follow-up, schedule planning, coordination and project management.

You are responsible for monitoring the project's progress, costs and quality and ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with current requirements and Trafikverket's project processes.

The work is carried out mainly from Luleå with the possibility of remote work. Travel occurs and work in evenings and weekends may be relevant.

Duties

Lead and monitor the project's work with tender documentation, construction documents and contract regarding time, cost and content.

Be responsible for financial follow-up, budget work, cost reconciliations and forecasts.

Review the work of design consultants and coordinate the review of technical documents.

Follow up the work of contractors and ensure that contracts, drawings and quality, environmental and occupational health and safety requirements are complied with.

Lead and take part in technical meetings, design meetings and consultation meetings and represent the project manager when needed.

Take part in preparing procurement strategies, procurements, decision-making materials and analyses.

Coordinate internal and external contacts and contribute to knowledge transfer within Trafikverket's organisation.

Requirements (mandatory)

You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

You must have experience of working in project groups where coordination has been important.

You must hold a B driving licence.

You must have at least 3 years' experience as a project manager in general railway. The experience must not be older than 10 years.

You must have knowledge of laws, regulations, standards and directives within the relevant technical area.

You must have completed the BASÄSKYDD training.

Desirable 

You have at least 5 years' experience of project management in railway projects with a total budget of at least SEK 400 million, of which at least 3 years relate to projects that included preparing construction documents for railway. The experience must not be older than 8 years.
