Role and responsibilities 

• Contribute to the design, evolution and optimisation of cloud architectures in a complex technology environment.
• Analyse business and technology needs in order to propose cloud solutions suited to organisational objectives.
• Take part in defining the direction, standards and best practices for cloud architecture.
• Design and document technical architectures, taking into account performance, security, availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and security teams to ensure the seamless integration of cloud solutions.
• Support teams in setting up and using cloud platforms and containerised environments (e.g. Kubernetes).
• Take part in evaluating and selecting the technologies and tools needed for solution architecture.
• Monitor technology developments and recommend improvements to optimise the use of cloud services.
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation as well as associated guides and standards

Qualifications and experience 

Required qualifications

• Live in the Quebec City region or be available to work on site in Quebec City.
• Hold a bachelor's degree or a DEC in information technology or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 10 years of IT experience
• Have at least 4 years of experience as a cloud architect
• Have at least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes distributions (OpenShift, AKS, EKS), as well as with registry management (Docker Hub, RedHat Quay, Artifactory)
