Welcome to the EKIUM universe!

We are looking for an experienced Piping Fluids Designer / Plant 3D Administrator at our Dunkirk office

You take part in the design of general installations (process & utility circuits), and the layout of equipment and piping, in varied contexts: new construction, capacity increases, transfer or compliance upgrades of installations:

Missions

• Design & layout: Lay out process equipment, define the routing of piping networks, respecting technical and regulatory constraints

• Drawings and technical diagrams: Create or modify process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), produce layout drawings for piping and process equipment, guide plans, isometrics, and principle drawings for boilermaking equipment

• 3D modelling & Plant3D Administration: Carry out and/or supervise 3D modelling with Plant3D to optimise equipment integration and anticipate interferences. Act as the agency's “Plant 3D reference person”: configure catalogues, manage templates, maintain modelling standards, provide technical support to team users.

• Deliverables management: Ensure the technical quality of deliverables produced by the draughtspersons, and raise alerts in case of drift in studies.

• Collaboration: Take part in technical meetings with internal teams and clients. Work in synergy with the engineering and designer teams. Contribute to developing the technical skills of junior staff in piping.

Profile

• Holder of a BTS, DUT or professional bachelor's degree in Mechanics, Boilermaking, Industrial Design, Process Engineering or Thermal Engineering.

• You have at least 7 years of industrial design experience in piping, ideally in the (petro)chemical or comparable sectors.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Plant3D.

• Good knowledge of industrial piping standards and codes and of layout constraints.

• Rigorous without being rigid, precise without losing the overall picture, curious, a team player, and a good teacher.

• Motivated by demanding environments and concrete projects with high technical added value.
