About the role

We are now offering a developing role as Senior Software Developer for our product MEPS. In MEPS, property companies, insurance companies and contractors collaborate on assignments relating to ROT and repair work in buildings, in an efficient, transparent and profitable way. In this role you get the opportunity to work from a holistic perspective, driving improvements across everything from software design, implementation and integration to deployment of code.

Being a developer at CAB

At CAB we work according to DevOps and CI/CD because we think it is important that our development teams get to follow the results of the products they work with, over time. As a developer you are therefore involved in the whole development chain, from requirements and design to finished product. Each team consists of developers who work on both backend and frontend, a scrum master, a lead developer and testers.

In addition, we are very keen on working with cutting-edge technology and have a Microsoft-based development environment where we use, among other things:

• .NET, C#, and SQL

• The Angular web framework.

• GitHub Copilot

• Azure is our primary operating environment, where we strive towards microservice architecture, containers, event-based solutions and infrastructure as code.

Currently we are more than 100 employees working in-house in our development teams at our offices in Örebro, Gothenburg and Oslo. ✨🙌

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for you who are an experienced developer and have several years of work experience in .NET, C# and SQL and web. You also have experience of solution design, development of cloud-based systems and microservices. We believe that you are curious and like to take initiative to create smart technical solutions and improve methods throughout the process, from requirements to operation.

We use AI in our daily work, including through GitHub Copilot, and would like you to have experience of working with AI.

To thrive in the role we believe you enjoy taking on new technology and developing together with others. You like to share your knowledge and experience, while also being curious about others' perspectives and ideas. You have an active role in the team's development by contributing technical guidance, sharing experiences and supporting others in their development. You are communicative, enjoy collaborating and see knowledge exchange as a natural part of the work. Since you work through the whole life cycle of the products you are involved in developing, a holistic perspective and taking responsibility are a natural part of your way of working.
