Sitedish takes on delivery platforms by offering the complete package for delivery and takeaway restaurants and is the Dutch pioneer and market leader in this area. With over 18 years of experience, Sitedish now provides its services to more than 4,000 restaurants. Despite many years of experience, there is a scale-up atmosphere due to the sudden, massive growth Sitedish experienced in 2019. In addition, Sitedish has been in a new growth phase since last year, which makes this an ideal moment for you to come on board!

The Sitedish complete package consists of its own ordering website, ordering app, point-of-sale system, hardware, BezorgApp and the necessary relevant marketing tools to promote the restaurant's own ordering environment. By relieving restaurant owners of peripheral matters, Sitedish gives them the opportunity to focus fully on the food.

What will you do?

As a PHP Developer with a DevOps mindset, you are jointly responsible for how we build and how we run.

• Managing and improving our infrastructure, as code

• Further modernising our production environment

• Further developing our databases: performance and migrations without downtime

• Resolving outages

• Enabling colleagues and AI agents to build securely

• In addition, writing code in PHP

Working with AI

We work with AI tools every day. As a result, the work shifts from typing code to deciding what we build and how it should work. In this role you build the guardrails: tests, CI checks, review rules and agreements for agents. And you ensure that we can build quickly and keep quality high.

The team

You will join our development team in Amsterdam. We work according to DevOps: what we build, we also run ourselves.

This is the direction, not a checklist

• Several years of experience with Linux servers in production

• Experience with relational databases under load: analysing queries, indexes and schema changes without downtime

• Experience with containers, CI/CD or other infrastructure-as-code tools

• A number of years of experience with PHP

• Experience with AI agents in your work, and a good sense of what you do and do not leave to AI

• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement

Bonus points

• Experience with cloud platforms

• Experience with orchestration such as Kubernetes

• Experience with monitoring and logging
