Main responsibilitiesAs part of a project for our client Carrefour, we are looking for a Senior GCP Architect / Cloud Engineer.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Design, deploy and evolve Cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Administer, optimise and maintain Kubernetes clusters (GKE).
Automate the deployment and management of infrastructures with Terraform and Ansible.
Set up landing zones and ensure Cloud governance.
Ensure the security of infrastructures, access management (IAM) and network configurations.
Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
Implement observability tools and SRE best practices.
Support technical teams in adopting Cloud best practices.
Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud architecture.
Excellent command of Kubernetes (GKE).
Proficiency in the Terraform and Ansible automation tools.
Experience in setting up landing zones and Cloud governance.
Solid knowledge of networking, Cloud security and identity management (IAM).
Good command of CI/CD environments, GitOps and SRE practices.
Experience in supervision, monitoring and observability of Cloud infrastructures.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems.
Autonomy, rigour and a sense of organisation.
Good communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly.
Team spirit and ability to support technical teams.
Proactive mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Cloud and infrastructure environments.
Significant experience in GCP architecture.
Higher education in IT or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in complex technical environments is an advantage.
