Reqcon is looking for an experienced test lead for a strategic transformation project at a major player in the retail sector.

The project involves the introduction of a new generation solution for assortment planning and affects core business processes, integrations and data. You will play a key role in quality assurance and be responsible for the testing work, from overall strategy and planning through to follow-up and decision support ahead of go-live.

As a test lead, you take overall responsibility for the testing work in the project and create structure, alignment and clarity regarding quality, test status and risks.

You work closely with project management, business representatives, product owners, solution architect, Tech Lead, development and integration teams, testers, and external suppliers and implementation partners.

You will, among other things:

• Develop and maintain the project's overall test strategy and test plan

• Plan and coordinate test activities between business, IT and external suppliers

• Ensure that relevant business processes, integrations, data and processes are covered by the testing work

• Lead and support testers and other participants in the testing work

• Lead the planning and execution of system testing, integration testing and acceptance testing

• Ensure that test cases and acceptance criteria cover requirements and prioritised use cases

• Ensure access to the right test data and test environments ahead of each test phase

• Lead defect management and follow up test results, quality and risks

• Report test status and identified risks to project management

• Prepare input for assessing the quality of the solution and remaining risks ahead of go-live

• A relevant university degree or equivalent experience

• At least 9 years' experience of planning and leading testing across several test phases

• Experience of complex solutions with multiple integrations and dependencies

• A good understanding of test methodology, test cases, test data and defect management

• Experience of coordinating testing between business, IT and external suppliers

• Very good Swedish and English, spoken and written

• ISTQB certification or equivalent

• Experience from retail, assortment planning or closely related business areas

You are structured and used to creating order in complex projects with many dependencies and stakeholders. You work proactively, identify obstacles and risks early, and are confident in raising quality issues even when the timeline is under pressure.

You communicate clearly with business, IT and external suppliers and at the same time have a collaborative approach that creates alignment and moves the testing work forward.
