At Logicalis Spain we are looking for a professional with solid experience in AWS architecture.
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Cloud Architect, specialised in Amazon Web Services (AWS), to join our technology team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing AWS-based cloud solutions to meet the business and technical needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud architectures on AWS.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing applications and new developments.
Advise on best practices for security, performance and scalability in the cloud.
Manage cloud infrastructure, including the configuration, monitoring and optimisation of resources.
Automate processes and repetitive tasks using tools such as Terraform, AWS CLI, or AWS SDKs.
Evaluate and adopt new AWS technologies to improve efficiency and innovation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define cloud migration strategies and execute them effectively.
Required Knowledge:
Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing cloud solutions using AWS.
In-depth knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.
Experience in infrastructure automation and code deployment using tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing security measures in AWS environments.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues in the cloud.
Technical leadership: ability to act as a technical reference, share best practices, provide coaching and help raise the overall technical level of the team.
Desirable Knowledge: AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
Experience in cloud migrations and cost optimisation in AWS environments. Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience in implementing DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
Communication skills and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
Mentoring and talent development skills.
