Do you enjoy making networking, security, infrastructure and automation work together? At Ictech you get to build well-considered cloud solutions, influence technical choices and solve tricky problems. Together with experienced colleagues who share your interest in technology.

We are looking for more senior Cloud Engineers to join Ictech in Gothenburg. We believe you enjoy understanding how different systems fit together and want to build cloud environments that are secure, scalable and work over time. Even when systems grow and needs change.

What will you be working on?

As a Cloud Engineer at Ictech you will build new cloud environments and further develop existing infrastructure. Assignments vary, from designing platforms to modernising, automating and improving solutions that are already in operation.

Here you get to dive deep into the infrastructure behind modern applications and influence the architecture. You work closely with developers, architects and other technical specialists to find a good balance between security, performance, scalability and cost.

Among other things, you may get to work with:

• Design, implementation and further development of cloud infrastructure in Azure, AWS or Google Cloud

• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep or equivalent

• Networking, identity management, access control and security

• Automation, configuration management and CI/CD

• Container technology and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes

• Monitoring, troubleshooting and performance and cost optimisation

Who do we think you are?

You have at least 7 years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering, IT infrastructure, DevOps or platform development. You also have solid hands-on experience of building, deploying and further developing cloud-based solutions.

You enjoy understanding how the infrastructure works behind applications. You see both the details and the big picture, take technical responsibility and enjoy solving problems together with others. And you willingly share what you know.

We believe you have:

• Good knowledge of at least one cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud

• Experience of designing, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure

• A good understanding of networking, identity management and security in cloud environments

• Experience of Infrastructure as Code and automation

• Knowledge of Linux or Windows Server

• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English

If you also have experience of Kubernetes, GitOps, hybrid cloud, cloud migration or in-depth expertise in cloud security, we see it as a plus.

You do not need to have worked with every technology we mention. What matters most is that you have a strong technical foundation, enjoy solving problems and want to keep developing.
