Senior Java Software Engineer - Remote

Are you passionate about quality software development and modern architectures based on microservices? We are expanding our team to join a strategic project in the retail sector, taking part in the development of high-impact business solutions in an innovative and long-standing technology environment.

We are looking for professionals with experience in Java development who want to be part of a multidisciplinary team working under Agile methodologies and taking part in all phases of the software lifecycle.

What will you do?

• Development and evolution of applications based on Java and Spring.

• Design and implementation of solutions based on microservices architecture.

• Development of unit and integration tests.

• Participation in code reviews and application of good development practices.

• Collaboration with Architecture, QA and DevOps teams.

• Participation in a strategic project with continuous evolution and iterative deliveries.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in Java development.

• Solid experience working with:

  • Java 11 or higher.

  • Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud).

• Knowledge and experience in microservices architectures.

• Experience applying code quality standards, static analysis and testing.

• Regular participation in Code Review processes.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

We will especially value

• Experience with messaging systems, especially Kafka.

• Knowledge of reactive and/or functional programming.

• Experience in cloud environments and distributed ecosystems.

• Teamwork skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
