Senior Cloud Platform Engineer - IT Infrastructure

We are now looking for a senior Cloud Platform Engineer who wants to help develop platform services, support development teams and drive automation in a technically advanced environment.

You will become part of an experienced platform team responsible for the development and operation of cloud-based infrastructure. The role involves developing and improving platform services (IaaS/PaaS), supporting teams in solution architecture and automating CI/CD workflows. The work is characterised by innovation, collaboration and a strong focus on efficient and secure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage platform services in a cloud environment (IaaS/PaaS)

• Automate and improve CI/CD processes for both the platform and development teams

• Support teams in solution architecture and best practices in cloud technology

• Work with container platforms, integration and related systems

• Contribute to improvements in security, scalability and operations

Qualifications

• Solid experience of platform development in a cloud environment, preferably Azure

• Experience of several of the following: Kubernetes, databases, IAM, AD, IaC, PowerShell/Bash, Git

• Experience of networking and firewall configuration

• Competence in CI/CD (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins)

• Ability to work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented way

• Experience of cloud architecture or solution architecture

• Experience in cyber security (SecOps)

• Experience of agile ways of working and pair or mob programming
