Mission

What if your 10 years of electrical expertise became the common thread of high-value industrial projects?

Within the Industrial Engineering activity, based at Ekium's head office in Lyon 7th arrondissement, you will join a team of around twenty engineers and experts, engaged on design management and turnkey projects in demanding sectors: Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food Processing and Petrochemicals.

As Project Manager, you take charge of the overall management of large-scale technical projects, from the feasibility phase through to commissioning.

• Build and maintain relationships of trust with all stakeholders: clients, design offices, project management contractors and operators

• Analyse functional requirements, identify technical constraints upstream and contribute to the preparation of cost estimates

• Ensure full management of the design phases, from design reviews to line testing

• Manage operational resources: schedules, task allocation, procurement, within the allocated budgets

• Lead and coordinate project teams ensuring method and efficiency at every stage

• Run steering bodies: technical follow-up meetings, planning sessions and progress reviews

• Meet contractual commitments: adherence to deadlines, cost control and management of commitments, from launch to delivery

• Oversee financial monitoring: triggering of invoicing and monitoring of collections

Profile

Education & Experience

Graduate of an engineering school or holder of a BAC+5 in Electricity, Electrotechnics or a related field (Electronics, Instrumentation or Industrial Automation), you can demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in a similar role in an industrial environment.

Skills & expected qualities

Whether your background is rooted in pure electricity or intersects with automation, what matters above all is solid mastery of the industrial electrical field and proven experience in project management in demanding technical environments.

In addition:

• Mastery of project management in all its dimensions: schedule, budget, contract management

• The ability to run several projects simultaneously with rigour and composure

• Fluent English, essential in an international context

• Rigorous and autonomous, you know how to unite your teams and maintain relationships of trust with your clients, combining technical rigour with a sense of responsibility.
