Are you a civil engineering professional with a broad track record in railway infrastructure, strategic vision and the ability to lead landmark projects of great scale? We are looking for a Railway Head of Works to lead the execution of the Piérnigas - Pancorbo section of the Burgos - Vitoria High-Speed Line (LAV).

What will your mission be?

Lead the technical, economic, environmental and administrative execution of the project assigned on the Burgos - Vitoria LAV, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and profitability, with strict compliance with deadlines and the regulations in force of ADIF Alta Velocidad. As the senior person on site from the start until the handover of the project, you will coordinate human and material resources and act as the main liaison with the Works Management and public administrations.

Your main responsibilities:

• Technical and Economic Management: Plan, supervise and control the works budget, monthly closings, certifications, costs and production, optimising the profitability and technical quality of the infrastructure.

• Railway and Structures Operational Planning: Coordinate and supervise the platform works, track installation, drainage works and, especially, the execution of viaducts and large-scale structures that are complex in a High-Speed environment.

• On-Site Presence and Leadership: Ensure continuous monitoring and control on the ground of progress, resources and subcontractors during all phases of project execution.

• Health, Safety and Environment: Ensure rigorous compliance with occupational risk prevention measures and with the specific environmental and safety regulations in the railway field (ADIF).

• Team and Subcontract Management: Lead the technical and production team, coordinate the foremen and supervise the performance and quality of the work contracted to subcontractors.

• Institutional Liaison: Act as the main point of contact with the Works Management, ADIF Alta Velocidad and the local bodies or entities involved.

What profile are we looking for?

• Education: Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Caminos, Canales y Puertos) is essential.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience as Head of Works on projects that have included the execution of viaducts.

• Specific Knowledge: Mastery of ADIF technical regulations, cost management tools and civil/railway works planning software.

• Skills: High leadership capacity, methodical rigour, problem-solving in large linear works and excellent liaison skills.
