About the role

Translated into English from Danish by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

Advance your professional development and help shape the future of construction. At WSP we work on complex and socially relevant projects, and we are looking for an experienced structural engineer and lead specialist project manager who is ready to lead professional development and projects that make a difference.

Lead Specialist Project Manager in a unique role
You will become lead specialist project manager in our structures department, where we combine deep professional expertise with interdisciplinary collaboration. You will be responsible for driving projects, encompassing and delivering structural projects across our interdisciplinary projects and joining a strong professional environment together with your Danish colleagues and WSP's global network of experts. You will be a mentor for younger colleagues and contribute to the development of solutions designed for the future.

Strong and well-functioning department in Høje Taastrup
You will become part of our structures, renovation and fire department with around 40 committed colleagues, including 25 in the structures team. We work with technical client advisory services and structural design across renovation, transformation and new construction - from cultural buildings to commercial and residential properties. Our department is known for our strong team spirit, interdisciplinary collaboration and a culture where we help each other and readily share knowledge.

Together we create innovative and sustainable solutions, and you will become part of our Future Ready programme, where we integrate trends in climate, technology, resources and society into everything we do - also when we build for the future.

Your tasks
At WSP you are not alone with your tasks. We work together, help and support each other, and your primary tasks will be:

  • Design and detailing of load-bearing structures

  • Technical leadership on larger projects

  • Mentoring role for younger colleagues

  • Contributing to professional development and innovation

  • Collaboration across disciplines and national borders

Who are you?

You are:

  • A relevant engineering degree

  • At least 8 years of experience in advising on and designing structures

  • Solid knowledge of BR18, SBi271, Eurocodes and others

  • You may have experience with the programmes FEM Design, Robot and Revit

  • You may be a certified structural engineer or have ambitions to become one

We see competence development as an integral part of your everyday work through continuous exchange with colleagues and the experience you gain on projects along the way.

Most importantly, you want to take responsibility, share your knowledge and be part of a team that thinks big about the future.

At WSP you get more than a job
We know that life is more than work. That is why we offer flexible frameworks, the opportunity to work from home and a culture where family life, wellbeing and community are central. We have an active employee association with well-attended social activities, a good canteen, health insurance, a pension scheme, a share purchase programme, massage etc.

It is important to us that you enjoy coming to work. We strive to create a friendly and inclusive culture with respect for one another, and we value diversity and work actively for equality. At WSP, flexibility is at the core of how we work.

Would you like to help create solutions that last - also in the future?
Take the step and become part of WSP. Send your application and CV to us, and we will process applications on an ongoing basis.
