We are now helping Brandprojektering find an experienced fire engineer or fire consultant for its office in Stockholm. About the role
As a fire consultant you work with building fire protection in varied projects, from smaller refurbishments to larger projects such as hospitals, residential complexes and multi-purpose arenas. You take part in different phases of the design process and help customers find cost-effective solutions that meet the conditions of the project and applicable requirements.

You usually have both assignment responsibility and a case-handling role. This means you hold the assignment together from quotation and planning through to finished documentation and delivery. You build and maintain customer relationships and collaborate with, among others, property owners, construction companies, architects and other designers.

In the role you will, among other things:

• Run your own fire protection assignments with responsibility for quality and delivery.

• Investigate fire protection issues and produce technical fire protection documentation.

• Interpret regulations and translate them into solutions for the customer's project.

• Maintain ongoing customer dialogue and develop long-term collaborations.

• Discuss technical solutions and share knowledge with colleagues.

The main focus is fire protection in construction projects. Depending on your knowledge and interests, there is also the possibility to work with, for example, BIM, risk management or flammable goods.



We are looking for you who
You enjoy running your own assignments and building long-term customer relationships. You are analytical and solution-oriented, make independent assessments and can explain technical matters clearly. You gladly contribute your experience and appreciate discussing solutions with colleagues.

For the role you need:

• Several years of experience as a fire consultant in building fire protection.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your own customers and assignments from quotation to delivery.

• Ability to independently produce fire protection descriptions and fire protection drawings.

• Ability to search for, interpret and apply relevant building regulations and fire protection requirements.

• Knowledge of the Office suite.

• Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

A degree in fire engineering is a strong merit. A degree in building engineering or other relevant background combined with experience as a fire consultant may also be relevant. A master's degree in fire or risk is a further merit.

Certification as an expert in fire protection, SAK3, and knowledge of BIM/Revit, FDS/PyroSim, PFS or risk assessments for dangerous goods and flammable goods are also merits. You do not need experience in all areas. Other programmes and tools you can learn on site.
