Are you an experienced Financial Controller who can quickly create an overview and ensure quality in financial reporting?

On behalf of DanePork A/S, we are looking for an Interim Financial Controller who can step in at short notice and contribute to stable and efficient Financial Controlling, as the current Financial Controller has chosen new challenges.

You will take a central role in ongoing controlling, financial follow-up, reporting and analysis in a production company with complex operational interrelationships. The assignment requires you to quickly familiarise yourself with the company's accounts/finances, create an overview and ensure that the necessary deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.

We are therefore looking for an experienced profile who works independently, takes responsibility and can quickly create value in an organisation where financial insight and precise reporting are important for daily operations.

The Role

As Interim Financial Controller, you will be an operational part of the finance function and be responsible for driving forward central controlling and reporting tasks, including participation in month-end close, budget follow-up and analysis of financial variances etc.

You must be able to prioritise tasks, create structure and ensure that the most important deliverables are brought to completion. At the same time, you are expected to quickly identify any gaps in data, reporting or processes and take the initiative to have them addressed.

Your Background

You have solid experience from a position as Financial Controller, Business Controller or equivalent, where you have worked in depth with financial management, reporting and analysis.

You are used to taking independent responsibility for your deliverables and can quickly familiarise yourself with new systems, workflows and organisational conditions.

In addition, we envision that you:

• Have a strong understanding of accounting and good analytical skills.

• Have practical experience with month-end close, reporting and financial follow-up.

• Are familiar with budgets, variance analysis and relevant financial key figures.

• Have strong Excel skills and preferably experience with ERP and reporting tools.

• Can see through financial relationships and turn data into useful analyses.

• Have experience from a production company or another company with complex cost structures, which would be an advantage.

Experience with interim assignments is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the professional weight and practical experience that enables you to quickly take responsibility and achieve results.
