Introducing our team (project). 

The CNTD Dept is a team that identifies AI business and technology investment opportunities to strengthen KRAFTON's AI competitiveness and secure new growth opportunities.
Going beyond simple financial investment, we proactively explore promising technologies and business opportunities based on KRAFTON's medium- to long-term strategic direction. After investment, we also look at business touchpoints and room for collaboration. To this end, we research AI technology, products and industry structures, identify and analyse potential investment targets, and, where necessary, review investment execution and follow-on linkage plans.

This position gives you exposure to a wide range of technologies and business models at the forefront of the rapidly changing AI industry, and the chance to gain experience across market analysis, investment review, execution and linkage.

 

Introducing the mission you will take on with our team.

• Identifying AI business and technology investment opportunities
• Research and insight generation on the global AI market, technology and industry structure
• Identifying potential investment targets and analysing their business, technology and strategic fit
• Building investment rationales, preparing review materials, reporting to management, and leading investment review and execution
• Analysing portfolio performance after investment and developing strategies to create synergies across KRAFTON's business divisions
• Reviewing post-investment management and value enhancement measures such as follow-on investment, collaboration and business linkage
• Planning and carrying out other key company-wide strategic tasks and projects

 

We want to grow with someone who has these experiences! (Required)

• Over 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in fields such as Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, M&A, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Consulting
• Ability to derive key insights based on industry, market and company research and analysis
• Experience leading investment, strategy or business development projects
• Ability to collaborate smoothly with diverse internal and external stakeholders and to communicate logically through document writing and reporting
• Business Fluent level English communication skills
• No obstacles to overseas business travel

 

If you have these experiences, you are the person we are looking for! (Preferred)

• Strong understanding of industries such as AI, data, software, digital content and platforms
• Experience conducting investment review, developing investment rationales and analysing business viability based on AI technology or business understanding
• Experience in follow-on management such as portfolio management, business collaboration and synergy review after investment
• Quantitative analysis capability such as financial modelling, company valuation and business plan development, or holding qualifications or degrees such as an MBA, CFA or CPA
