We are looking for a road construction manager for Trafikverket for an assignment in Västmanland County.

This is a consultancy assignment. The base location is optional Trafikverket office within the region.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places great demands on flexibility and ability to cooperate.

The assignment

The assignment concerns construction management within Trafikverket's base contracts in Västmanland County. The consultant acts as Trafikverket's construction manager regarding production and works together with, among others, the contractor, project engineer, maintenance engineer and project manager.

Duties

Lead and coordinate the assigned area/contract.

Ensure that the contract is planned, quality assured and carried out in accordance with the contract and established plans.

Follow up that the works remain within budget, authority decisions, agreements, permits and arrangements.

Carry out construction site follow-up in accordance with the control programme.

Compile follow-ups and forecasts.

Prepare and deliver reporting documentation.

Represent Trafikverket at the construction site.

Provide expert and technical support to project management.

Follow up contract work regarding economy, time, quality and environment.

Together with the project manager, follow up and develop contracts and processes.

Communicate with affected customers and consult with other authorities.

The construction manager also has the authority to call off smaller works from the operations contractor.

Requirements (NB, mandatory)

Be able to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Experience of working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Category B driving licence.

At least 3 years' work experience as a construction manager or in a supervisory role, for example production manager, site supervisor, site manager or equivalent within roads.

The experience must come from projects with over 20 MSEK in turnover per year. The work experience must not be older than 10 years.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, standards and directives in the field.

Competence according to TRVK Apv TDOK 2012:86, at least level 2.

Competence and experience in managing and leading winter road maintenance.

Completed training to act as the client's construction client and construction health and safety coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U.

Relevant education or work experience for work in Trafikverket's systems GDP-analys, Spva, PP and MIP.
