Would you like to help drive the strategic development of our models to counter financial crime?
About the role:
As a Risk Specialist within Financial Crime Prevention (FCP), you will play a central role in helping to drive the strategic development work on our FCP models. You will become a key player in a specialist team focused on data-driven customer base analysis, risk reporting and model work, in an environment where we are now scaling up to meet new regulatory requirements and a growing international market. In close collaboration with the team and other stakeholders, you will ensure the highest quality and accuracy in our defence against financial crime
In the role, you will among other things:
Drive, define requirements for and manage the development of our FCP models.
Carry out in-depth customer base analyses and identify new risk patterns.
Produce insights that form the basis for strategic decisions and periodic reporting to management and authorities.
Be responsible for translating complex regulatory requirements (AML/CTF) into effective, scalable processes and concrete system logic.
Act as subject matter expert in strategic initiatives, for example when adapting to new regulations or introducing new analysis systems and AI support.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is distinctly analytical, with a deep understanding of risk management and an exceptional ability to see how technical models best support the business. You enjoy handling large volumes of data and evaluating system logic, but you also have the ability to lift your gaze and understand the overall strategic picture. As you drive your own areas of responsibility, it is important that you are self-driven and enjoy taking your own initiatives.
In the role you act with high integrity and stand firmly behind your conclusions and model assessments, even in complex trade-offs. You value high data quality and always maintain a constructive dialogue, even when you challenge and push for improvements in the business. Furthermore, you have a natural ability to translate complex data, risk and model logic into understandable language. Whether you are speaking with operational investigators, defining requirements for the tech teams or presenting to management, you express yourself clearly and inspire confidence. You gladly share your expertise with colleagues and are driven by building functioning bridges between analysis, regulation and technology.
To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone who has:
Several years of solid experience working in anti-money laundering, with a clear focus on FCP model work and systems-oriented analysis.
Very good knowledge of the AML regulatory framework and confidence in how it is applied in a data-driven, regulated environment.
Ability to produce well-founded decision support based on data.
Post-secondary education in economics, systems science, engineering, law or equivalent.
It is a strong advantage if you have:
AML certification (e.g. ACAMS or equivalent).
Experience working at the intersection of business and tech (for example with requirements definition), or previous experience driving the implementation of new analysis systems and risk models.
