Mission

Integrated into the Electrical team and reporting to the Activity Manager of our Aix-en-Provence (13) agency, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical engineering studies on our projects in the energy, Oil & Gas and petrochemical sectors.
In this role, you will supervise and coordinate a team of draughtspeople and designers, and you will be responsible for ensuring that studies meet quality, cost and deadline requirements.

As part of our projects, your main responsibilities are as follows:

Technical

Carrying out low-voltage electrical studies including in particular:

• Preparing consumer lists.

• Defining the architecture and designing LV electrical networks (normal and emergency).

• Producing single-line diagrams for generation and distribution.

• Establishing power balances (normal and emergency LV networks).

• Sizing and specifying the main electrical equipment and components: generators (TG, DG) and their protection, LV distribution boards, HV/LV transformers, electrical cabinets, inverters, chargers, cables.

• Producing electrical drawings for distribution cabinets, power connection plans and lighting studies.

• Calculating cables and writing the associated calculation notes.

• Producing earthing and lightning protection plans.

• Pricing the supply and installation of electrical equipment.

Support for works tenders

• Writing requisitions and technical specifications for electrical equipment and works tenders.

• Technical and commercial analysis of supplier and contractor offers.

Occasionally, support for on-site acceptance activities

• Participating in factory and site acceptance of equipment and works (FAT / SAT).

• Supervising testing and commissioning.

Project management / pricing

• Participating in preparing offers and developing budgets.

• Monitoring schedules, hours and costs.

• Technical interface with clients and suppliers.

Quality / management

• Guaranteeing the quality of studies produced in line with cost and deadline objectives.

• Supervising a team of draughtspeople and designers with a predominantly electrical / electrotechnical focus.

Profile

• You hold a degree from an engineering school in electrical / electrotechnical engineering or an equivalent qualification, and you have at least 10 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial environment, with references in Oil & Gas and petrochemicals.

  You are proficient in Office tools (Excel, Word) as well as the following professional software:

  • Calculations: Caneco BT

  • Knowledge of ETAP or Caneco HT software is an advantage.

  Self-reliant and rigorous, you enjoy teamwork. Your analytical and synthesis skills, combined with your technical expertise, enable you to propose relevant solutions. You have strong writing skills and pay attention to detail.

  Language: fluent professional English.
