About the role
Translated into English from Korean by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.
Video accounts for 90% of the world's data, yet most of it remains in a domain that machines still cannot understand.
To solve this problem, TwelveLabs builds AI infrastructure that enables machines to understand video. Through AI models that understand video more precisely and deeply than humans, we comprehensively analyse the visual and auditory information within video and apply it to workflows across media and entertainment, sports, security and the public sector.
We have raised over 300 billion won in cumulative investment from global investors including NEA, Radical Ventures, Amazon, NVIDIA, Snowflake, Databricks, Index Ventures, Naver Ventures, Korea Investment Partners, Quadrille Capital and Red Bull Ventures. In addition, world-leading AI leaders including Fei-Fei Li, Silvio Savarese and Alexandr Wang serve on our advisory board.
TwelveLabs is a global company operating from four offices: San Francisco, Seoul, New York and London. Core research and development takes place in Seoul, and members across our offices are applying video understanding technology to a range of industries and markets. Because we build technology that makes sense of the world's complexity, we believe we can build better products when people with different backgrounds and perspectives come together.
We are looking for people who want to define answers that do not yet exist in the world, and who want to make change happen with their own hands. Build technology that understands the world with us at TwelveLabs.
Infrastructure engineers at TwelveLabs design and build core infrastructure so that our AI SaaS platform can be operated reliably and scalably. They work with system architecture across diverse cloud and on-premises environments, and build robust infrastructure that underpins our video AI foundation models.
