[Finance Division] Senior Financial Strategy Specialist (7+ Years)

Introducing our team (project). 

The Financial Strategy team carries out key corporate management projects in line with KRAFTON's strategic goals (M&A, enhancing corporate and shareholder value, post-investment management, etc.). It works with relevant departments across KRAFTON and supports key decisions of management through independent opinions.

 

Introducing the missions you will take on with our team.

• 1) Hands-on work on key corporate management projects (e.g., M&A, capital market transactions)
  • For M&A, co-work with the investment execution team to evaluate the target, calculate value, and derive financial/accounting implications and solutions
  • Continuously monitor the progress of the strategic investment objectives of investee companies, and provide independent analytical opinions and advice to management through diagnosis of financial and non-financial performance
  • Coordinate and coordinate work with various relevant departments such as accounting, disclosure, IR and legal to advance projects
  • Coordinate and review work with financial, accounting and legal advisers
• 2) Hands-on review of corporate finance from the perspective of enhancing corporate value and maximising shareholder value
  • Review of strategic agendas related to various corporate finance matters, including establishing and implementing shareholder return policies
  • Review of medium- to long-term business plans and growth strategies
  • Review of improvements to corporate governance structure, subsidiary spin-offs, mergers, restructuring, etc.
• 3) Carry out ad-hoc financial strategy projects linked to business strategy

[Required professional expertise]

• Must meet at least one of the following 3 requirements 
  • 7+ years of experience in M&A and corporate consulting work in Investment Banking
  • 7+ years of experience in investment execution, PMI, post-investment management, etc. at a private equity, venture capital, asset management firm or similar
  • 7+ years of experience in listed company financial strategy, holding company financial management, or providing corporate financial/non-financial advisory as a certified public accountant or CFA charterholder

[Required non-professional qualifications]

• Experience collaborating and coordinating with diverse stakeholders
• Business fluent or higher English communication skills
• No obstacles to overseas business travel

• Work experience in strategy or financial strategy departments in gaming and non-gaming industries 
• Broad understanding of business strategy, operations and management across various industries 
• Interest in KRAFTON's games and being a passionate gamer who plays games across various platforms and genres
