Aleido continues to grow within System Safety! We are now looking for a System Safety Expert, preferably with a background in the defence industry, who wants to work with advanced technical systems in environments where safety, quality and traceability are essential throughout the entire system lifecycle.
About the role
As a System Safety Expert with us, you will work on identifying, analysing and managing risks in complex technical systems. You will help ensure that systems meet safety requirements and that risks to people, the environment, operations and materiel are reduced to acceptable levels.
The role requires a good understanding of systems development and of how technology, use, operation and maintenance affect safety. You will work closely with ILS, designers, project managers, verification engineers and customers to integrate safety work throughout the development process. You will also be in contact with end customers, users and subcontractors, which places demands on communication and the ability to adapt to different target groups and situations.
You will among other things work with
analysing system design to identify risks and assess reliability, including relevant product and environmental requirements such as REACH and RoHS
developing reliability predictions, system safety documentation and analyses based on calculated data
ensuring fail-safe solutions by reviewing architecture and requirements and recommending safety measures
carrying out and documenting analyses such as FMEA/FMECA, System Safety Plan, Preliminary System Safety Assessment and System Safety Assessment
We are looking for you who have
several years of experience in system safety, systems development or another relevant technical discipline
experience of risk analyses, requirements management and systems engineering work
experience of systems engineering, for example requirements or architecture work within software, electronics or mechanics
unrestricted Swedish and English
Swedish citizenship
We are looking for you who have a good understanding of complex technical systems and clear systems thinking. You work in a structured way and have the ability to drive issues all the way from analysis to action. You have very good communication and collaboration skills and enjoy creating clarity and progress together with others.
Meritorious
experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or the defence industry
experience of safety standards such as MIL-STD-882, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, EN 50126/50129 or equivalent
experience of requirements management and systems engineering tools, for example DOORS or similar
experience of verification, validation or certification work
