Let’s build a sustainable future together.

At WSP, we help transform regions sustainably. By joining one of the world’s leading engineering firms, you will take part in ambitious missions in transport, infrastructure, buildings, the environment, water, energy and industry.

Our strength lies in combining local presence, recognised technical expertise and an international network, to devise sustainable and innovative solutions to climate, societal and technological challenges.

Joining WSP means becoming part of an ambitious, collaborative and forward-looking company, where every talent can contribute, learn, grow and make a difference.

Your mission: contributing to projects that matter

Working closely with the members of the Business Unit, you will take on full MOE (design and project management) assignments, from design through to supervising the execution of works, in the field of waste treatment and recovery. You will contribute to large-scale projects led by public and private clients alike.

You will join a team working on complex construction and rehabilitation projects for waste treatment facilities, including incineration or anaerobic digestion plants.

Your responsibilities

In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Managing complex construction or rehabilitation projects for waste treatment facilities, from the study phase through to commissioning.

  • Providing overall project direction, including assistance to the project owner and public authorities.

  • Leading and coordinating WSP’s actions within the control and coordination cell of a joint venture (groupement momentané d’entreprises).

  • Designing and monitoring the overall project schedule in liaison with the planner.

  • Ensuring compliance with budgets and deadlines.

  • Establishing workload and staffing forecasts, in agreement with the Group Leader.

  • Coordinating technical and contractual interfaces between the various project stakeholders.

Your future team: You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team, where knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional development are part of everyday life.

Our culture: we value transparency, trust and mutual support to create an environment where everyone can speak up, contribute and see their ideas valued.

The Visioneer you are: every journey is unique

Holding an engineering degree with a generalist focus in environmental, energy or civil engineering, you have solid experience in managing large-scale projects involving the design and delivery of waste treatment facilities, such as incineration or anaerobic digestion plants.

This role is made for you if you recognise yourself in the following criteria:

  • You master the technical, organisational and strategic dimensions of project management.

  • You are comfortable with project owner assistance, project direction and supporting public stakeholders throughout the various operational phases.

  • An excellent communicator, you know how to build lasting, high-quality relationships with partners and clients, both current and future.

  • You know how to defend your technical choices, coordinate stakeholders and rally contacts around the projects you lead.

  • Rigorous, organised and proactive, you show initiative and keep a global view of the issues.

  • Your energy, your drive to progress and your strong focus on objectives and results enable you to successfully deliver the projects entrusted to you.

What this role will bring you: this opportunity will allow you to lead complex, meaningful environmental projects, strengthen your expertise in project direction and have a tangible impact with public and private clients.

With solid experience behind you, you want to keep tackling technical challenges through complex, meaningful projects. In this role, you will bring your expertise, foster knowledge sharing and help strengthen the technical quality of our work within multidisciplinary teams.
