🤝 Your role: SAP expert at the heart of agrifood challenges

As a Functional Architect Food & Agrifood, you are the expert point of reference for delaware's SAP solution for agrifood. This covers dairy products, beverages, meat and meat products, industrial bakery and pastry, confectionery, ingredients and agricultural cooperatives.

You build and develop offers, secure the solution content of proposals and embody solution credibility with clients and teams.

You work in tandem with the Vertical Leaders. You collaborate closely with sales, pre-sales, architecture and delivery teams to accelerate development of the SAP Food solution in France and Europe.

🎯 Your main responsibilities

Solution expertise & offer construction

• Be the point of reference for the SAP solution for agrifood and closely monitor the challenges and developments of the sector.

• Build, structure and develop offers suited to the challenges of the process industry:

  • recipe and formulation management;

  • process production and batch management;

  • quality, food safety and upstream/downstream traceability;

  • management of use-by and best-before dates (DLC / DDM, FEFO);

  • variable weight management (catch weight);

  • demand planning and S&OP;

  • cold chain supply;

  • promotions and relations with large-scale retail.

• Capitalise on feedback, assets and demos to industrialise the solution response.

• Ensure technology watch and innovation around the solution: SAP S/4HANA, IBP, EWM, TM, Digital Manufacturing, BTP, AI.

Pre-sales & solution Go-to-Market

• Contribute to responses to tenders and secure the functional content of proposals.

• Deliver solution demonstrations and build pre-sales kits.

• Ensure costing and the Go-to-Market of the solution.

• Smooth the handover from pre-sales to delivery.

• Maintain presales relations with vendors and maintain certifications.

Leadership & community facilitation

• Unite and animate the internal Food & Agro community.

• Work in tandem with the Industry Leads to turn a commercial opportunity into a coherent proposal.

• Share best practices, feedback and solution innovations.

• Collaborate with sales teams, bid management, architects, delivery and delaware International.

🧭 Are you the person we are looking for?

Experience & background

• Experienced SAP expert in agrifood (dairy products, beverages, meat products, bakery, confectionery, ingredients, cooperatives).

• Solid experience in complex pre-sales, costing and solution demonstrations.

• Good understanding of Food business challenges:

  • process production and batch management;

  • quality and food safety (HACCP, IFS / BRC);

  • traceability and product recalls;

  • regulatory labelling and allergens;

  • planning and supply chain;

  • relations with large-scale retail.

• Confirmed expert profile.

Key skills

• Mastery of the SAP solution: S/4HANA for process industry (PP-PI, QM, batch management, Recipe Management, MM / SD) and dedicated modules.

• Demonstration and costing capability.

• Structuring of functional offers.

• Teaching ability and vendor relations.

• Interpersonal ease to work in tandem with Industry Leads and across functions.

• Ability to work in an international environment.

• Fluent English essential.
