Prototype Boilermaker - Versailles

As part of a project for the development and evolution of armoured vehicles and industrial prototypes, we are looking for a Prototype Boilermaker ready to get fully involved in a complete technical adventure.

Within this scope, your main responsibilities are:

• Carrying out boilermaking work on parts and assemblies of armoured vehicles: machining, welding, bending, drilling, fitting and assembly.

• Manufacturing and adapting prototype parts from manufacturing drawings.

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings in order to define suitable manufacturing solutions and processes.

• Taking part occasionally in the fitting and removal of parts on vehicles.

• Carrying out welding, brazing and workshop operations on welded mechanical structures.

• Writing the work sheets associated with the services performed.

• Completing inspection plans to ensure the conformity of assemblies and the configuration management of test vehicles.

• Writing liaison sheets to track non-conformities and deviations identified, and to formalise the technical solutions identified during mock-up and integration phases.

Profile

You have significant experience of at least 10 years in prototype boilermaking, ideally gained in the automotive, motorsport, heavy goods vehicle, defence or specialist vehicle sectors.

You have solid knowledge of:

• Industrial vehicle mechanics.

• Prototype boilermaking and manufacture of technical parts.

• Welding, brazing, bending, drilling, fitting and assembly.

• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.

• Manufacturing and assembly of welded mechanical structures.

Rigorous, autonomous and organised, you have a good analytical mind and enjoy teamwork in a demanding technical environment.

A armour welding accreditation is mandatory, as well as the permis pontier.

This position requires defence clearance.
