Main Responsibilities:

Support in the design and implementation of high-availability Microsoft architectures (Windows Server Failover Clustering, Always On Availability Groups)
Definition, implementation and testing of Disaster Recovery strategies with RPO and RTO objectives agreed for each client/service
Management of Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022/2025) in complex, multi-tenant enterprise scenarios
Advanced administration of multi-forest/multi-domain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI/AD CS and Federation Services (AD FS)
Support for the governance of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID / Azure AD) with advanced security and compliance configurations
Knowledge of VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and Apache Cloud Stack virtualisation environments in high-availability contexts
Advanced administration of Microsoft SQL Server: Always On AG configuration, mirroring, log shipping, performance optimisation and security management
Support in managing enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commonvault) with definition of retention policies and periodic restore tests
Planning and conducting periodic Business Continuity Tests and DR Drills with production of reporting for management and clients
Proactive infrastructure monitoring using advanced tools (Checkmk, Qradar, Qualys) with definition of thresholds and alerting
Preparation of detailed technical documentation: HLD/LLD, runbooks, operating procedures, DR plans and post-incident reports
Second and third level support on critical incidents (Major Incident Management)
Technical support to junior colleagues in the team.

Mandatory Technical Requirements:

Established experience (10+ years) in the management and design of enterprise Microsoft infrastructures
In-depth expertise in high-availability architectures: Windows Failover Clustering, SQL Always On AG
Proven experience in defining and managing Disaster Recovery plans with RPO/RTO defined for multi-client scenarios
Advanced knowledge of multi-forest/multi-domain Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, PKI and federation services
In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Azure Site Recovery, networking and security)
Experience managing Microsoft 365 in enterprise contexts with a focus on security, compliance and governance
Knowledge of VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion) and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation systems in clusters (a specific certification is not required)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server in high-availability configurations (Always On AG, mirroring, log shipping)
Experience with enterprise backup solutions and tested and documented restore procedures
Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation, monitoring and orchestration
Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, load balancing, firewall) and advanced troubleshooting capability
Knowledge of major Linux distributions (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu Server): installation, configuration, service management and basic troubleshooting (a specific certification is not required)
Basic knowledge of application servers: Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly and IBM WebSphere
Strong skills in Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing and definition of Remediation Plans: identification of infrastructure vulnerabilities, risk analysis, prioritisation of corrective actions and verification of the effectiveness of the remediations adopted
Excellent command of the English language (level C1), written and spoken
Willingness to travel within Italy and internationally

Preferred Requirements:

• Microsoft certifications: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect), AZ-800/801 (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator), AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer)
• Experience with Business Continuity frameworks (ISO 22301) and Information Security (ISO 27001)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with Microsoft Intune / SCCM / Endpoint Manager for device management
• Previous experience in MSP/Managed Services environments with multi-client management
• Experience in conducting infrastructure assessments and producing technology roadmaps
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in high-pressure contexts with strict SLA constraints
• Aptitude for working in distributed and multicultural teams
• Ability to manage priorities and work on several projects/clients simultaneously.

• For the selection process, an indicative gross annual salary between €50,000 and €55,000. The actual contractual classification and the related remuneration package will be defined according to various factors, including professional qualifications, level of seniority, skills acquired and training path.
