The Planium Group, a portfolio company of AUCTUS Capital Partners, is a strongly growing, mid-sized group with currently 7 operating units, offering its clients a cross-trade planning approach (from consulting through feasibility studies, architecture and specialist planning to project management and controlling, with a strong focus on ESG and sustainability). Planium will also continue its growth course through organic development (new employees, new locations, sales synergies) and, in particular, strategic expansion opportunities through mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

That is why we are looking for you as Head of Finance (m/w/d) to play a significant role in shaping the growth of the Planium Group and to develop into overall commercial responsibility for the group over the medium term.

Location: Werftstraße, Düsseldorf (hybrid working model possible)

• Active involvement in all commercial matters (operational and strategic) at Planium Holding

• Preparation and delivery of ongoing financial and performance reporting to management, shareholders and financing partners

• Responsibility for controlling and management of the consolidation of the group companies

• Building and developing the finance organisation, in particular through digitalisation and standardisation of financial processes

• Responsibility for the planning, budgeting and forecasting process, including liquidity planning

• Financial support for add-on acquisitions, from due diligence through to the integration of new companies

• Close collaboration with the CEO of the Planium Group and acting as a central sparring partner for AUCTUS

• Taking on full CFO responsibility within 1-2 years in a highly growth-oriented environment

• Wide scope for shaping your role and flexible working models in a dynamic, varied and international working environment

• Access to a long-established network of entrepreneurs, managers and investors of one of the most successful private equity funds in Germany

• Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in business studies or an equivalent qualification

• Several years of professional experience in accounting and controlling, preferably in the mid-sized sector, in auditing or in a (mid-sized) management consultancy

• Solid knowledge of finance, reporting and consolidation

• Ideally, initial experience in PE-backed companies, in M&A transactions or with management responsibility

• Hands-on mentality, assertiveness and affinity for the mid-sized sector

• Fluent German and English skills, spoken and written
