About the role

Translated into English from Spanish by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

At Construcciones Rubau we have more than 50 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, carrying out construction, concession, conservation and maintenance activities on civil engineering and building projects.

We have also diversified our activity with specialist divisions in water management, waste, renewable energies and rehabilitation, operating in countries such as Mexico, Poland and Spain. As a result of this diversification, AREMA was created, the division you will join to meet the most demanding challenges in the water sector.

Are you an engineering professional with extensive experience in electromechanical production and installation in water treatment facilities? We are looking for a Electromechanical Production Manager to join our team at the ETAP del Ter (Cardedeu).

What will your mission be?

Your mission will be to lead and coordinate on site the execution, installation and commissioning of the electromechanical installations at the ETAP del Ter, ensuring the planning of the works, compliance with production output, technical quality and the applicable safety standards.

As electromechanical production manager, you will be responsible for the operational organisation of the work teams and subcontractors, ensuring that the progress of the works is carried out in accordance with the technical project and the established deadlines.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Lead and plan on site the electromechanical installation works (pumping, filtration lines, dosing, settling, electrical panels, automation and industrial piping).

  • Output and Incident Control: Carry out daily monitoring of production, optimising the resources assigned and resolving any technical or logistical unforeseen issues during installation.

  • Coordination of Teams and Subcontractors: Direct our own operational staff and coordinate the specialist subcontracted companies (mechanical installers, electricians, welders, etc.), ensuring the pace and quality of the works.

  • Health and Safety (P.R.L.): Ensure strict compliance with the occupational risk prevention (P.R.L.) and environmental measures specific to the plant.

  • Relationship with Site Management: Coordinate with the Site Manager and the Technical Management on the certification of the progress of the electromechanical works.

What profile are we looking for?

  • Education: Technical or Higher Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering), with a specialism in Mechanical or Electrical.

  • Experience: 10 years of demonstrable experience in execution, production or electromechanical installation at drinking water treatment plants (ETAP) or wastewater treatment plants (EDAR).

  • Essential requirements:

    • Valid driving licence.

  • Specific Knowledge:

    • Experience in reading electromechanical drawings, electrical schematics and supervising execution of water treatment installations.

    • Use of works planning and monitoring tools.

  • Skills: Ability to lead operational teams on site, strong command, focus on production targets and a high commitment to quality and safety.

Why join our team?

We offer you the opportunity to join AREMA, an established company with a solid track record in the water and infrastructure sector.

  • Project: Active participation in a reference project at the ETAP del Ter, within a specialised, high-performance technical environment.

  • Benefits tailored to you (Flexible Remuneration): Options to optimise your salary (health insurance, childcare vouchers, continuing training).

  • Corporate Culture: A established professional team and a working environment based on rigour, teamwork and commitment.
