Senior Building Automation Programmer

Would you like to take the next step in building automation and work on technically challenging projects where programming, control engineering and commissioning are at the heart of the work?

On behalf of one of our clients, we are now looking for a Senior Programmer in Building Automation in Katrineholm. You will become part of a competent team working with modern solutions in building automation, where close collaboration between programmers, project managers and commissioning control electricians is an important part of the daily work.

The organisation works with, among others, Regin, SAIA, Beckhoff and Webport. To succeed in the role, you therefore need to be comfortable with one or more of these systems.

About the role

As a Senior Programmer in Building Automation, you will develop and create programs for both new and existing installations.

You will work on projects of varying size and character and be involved in several stages of project delivery. An important part of the role is, together with project managers, control electricians and other project colleagues, finding the best solution for each specific installation and situation.

The work covers both programming and commissioning and involves taking part in, and where necessary leading, commissioning activities.

You will become part of an experienced and competent work group where collaboration, problem solving and knowledge sharing are central to the way of working.

Your main tasks
  • Develop and create programs for new and existing building services installations.

  • Work with programming and configuration within building automation.

  • Work in systems such as Regin, SAIA, Beckhoff and Webport.

  • Take part in testing and commissioning of installations.

  • Take part in or lead commissioning activities.

  • Troubleshoot and find solutions in control and regulation systems.

  • Develop suitable technical solutions based on the conditions of each project.

  • Maintain close dialogue with project managers, control electricians and other project colleagues.

  • Contribute your experience and expertise to the team and to the development of shared working methods.

We are looking for you who have
  • Experience as a programmer, automation engineer or equivalent in building automation.

  • A genuine interest in technology and technical problem solving.

  • Good experience of building services systems such as ventilation, heating, cooling and fire.

  • A good understanding of control engineering and its function in building services systems.

  • Experience of one or more of the systems Regin, SAIA, Beckhoff and Webport.

  • The ability to work largely independently with programming and commissioning.

  • Good communication skills and a solution-oriented way of working.

  • Good collaboration skills.

As a person, you are a team player who enjoys working together with others to find good solutions. You take responsibility for your tasks, work in a structured and independent way, and at the same time see the value of close collaboration with colleagues and other professional groups.

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience of several of the systems Regin, SAIA, Beckhoff and Webport.

  • Broad experience of building automation and control engineering.

  • Experience of leading commissioning activities.

What we offer

In this role you get the opportunity to work in a technically competent environment with varied projects in building automation. You get independent work with significant technical content while working closely with other disciplines within the projects.

You will, among other things:

  • Work with varied and technically challenging projects.

  • Be involved in both programming and commissioning.

  • Work with established systems in building automation.

  • Collaborate with experienced programmers, project managers and control electricians.

  • Opportunity to influence and develop solutions adapted to different installations and projects.

  • Be part of a work environment where collaboration, technical competence and development are in focus.

Are you an experienced programmer in building automation and looking for a role where you can combine technical responsibility, problem solving and collaboration?

Then this could be your next step.
