Come and design the electricity transmission grid of the future.Would you like to be involved in designing solutions that enable Finland's energy transition? We are looking for a Lead Engineer to strengthen our Power business. In this role you will work on significant 110-400 kV overhead line and grid connection projects, where you will influence the development of the electricity transmission grid from the early stages of projects through to preparation for implementation.

What does the job involve?
As an Overhead Line General Design Engineer, you will take part in projects from their early development phases through to preparation for implementation. You will act as an expert on our customers' important investment projects and bring your insight into technical solutions, feasibility and cost-efficiency.
Your tasks may include, for example:
110-400 kV overhead line preliminary and general design
Route and siting design
Line profile and technical solution design
Comparison of overhead line and underground cable options
Cooperation with authorities and stakeholders
Preparation of land acquisition and permit processes
Coordination of environmental assessments
Preparation of tender and procurement materials
Technical consulting for customers
Technical management of projects and project manager duties, depending on your experience
What kind of talent are we looking for?
You may already be an experienced overhead line design expert, or a designer looking for the next step in your career. What matters most is your interest in demanding infrastructure projects and your desire to develop into a top expert in the field.
We expect from you:
A suitable engineering or M.Sc. (Eng.) degree
Experience in overhead line, electricity grid or energy infrastructure projects
Understanding of the structures and operating principles of the electricity transmission grid
Ability to manage large technical entities
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to work
Good interaction and cooperation skills
We particularly value experience in:
110-400 kV overhead line projects
Projects for Fingrid, Caruna, Elenia or other grid companies
Grid connection and renewable energy projects
Construction and site supervision
Project manager roles
Authority and land acquisition processes
