(Senior) Full Stack Product Engineer

Vantis is building a nationwide healthcare provider to make primary care reliable even as the shortage of doctors grows. As a (Senior) Full Stack Product Engineer (m/w/d) you will develop software solutions for this that solve very concrete problems in everyday practice: from more efficient workflows and better collaboration within the team to more transparent treatment histories for chronically ill patients. Many of these solutions use AI-based features and data products - but the focus is always on tangible value for our practices.

You will work closely with Product and our practice teams to turn ideas into productive systems quickly. Our products are developed and tested directly in our practices - so we go from the first hypothesis to live use in a few weeks.

Responsibilities

• Close collaboration with Product and practice teams to understand the needs of our practices and translate them into clearly defined product and feature concepts.
• End-to-end development and operation of applications for our practices - from front ends (e.g. for practice dashboards and workflows) through back ends and APIs to integration with existing systems.
• Implementation and integration of modern technologies (e.g. AI-supported functions, decision support, data products), always with a focus on benefit, reliability and data protection in the healthcare context.
• Responsibility for the entire lifecycle of your features: discovery, architecture, implementation, rollout, monitoring and continuous development based on feedback and data.

What you need to succeed

• Several years of experience in professional software development as well as a sound understanding of software design principles.
• Confident handling of the technologies relevant to us - ideally with experience in several of the following areas: React / React Native, TypeScript, Python, Django, Kubernetes.
• Initial practical experience with AI/ML technologies in products, e.g. through the integration of LLMs or the building of RAG architectures, and the ability to apply these purposefully to practice use cases.
• Strong product and business understanding as well as the ability to translate our practices' goals into technical requirements and to set priorities by impact.
• Hands-on startup mentality with a high degree of personal responsibility and ownership, focus on pragmatic solutions rather than over-engineering, openness to changing priorities and very good communication skills in an interdisciplinary team.
