Storage Systems Engineer SAN / Pure Storage

Your day-to-day

We are looking for a SAN Storage Infrastructure Expert to take charge of the operational maintenance and evolution of critical storage infrastructures.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure MCO and Run of SAN storage infrastructures.

• Administer and operate Cisco SAN and Pure Storage environments.

• Handle incidents and requests, and provide expert-level support to client teams.

• Take part in evolution projects: migrations, hardware upgrades and version upgrades.

• Design and implement solutions to improve performance and operability.

• Develop and modernise administration tools, in particular migrating scripts from Perl to Python.

• Take part in automation via Ansible and in monitoring and compliance tools.

• Contribute to studies, capacity planning and the evolution of infrastructures.

• Maintain technology watch on storage and SAN solutions.

• Take part in the on-call rota, approximately one week every 5 to 6 weeks.

• Work regularly with international teams, notably based in Porto.

Expertise and technical environment

• Expert in Cisco SAN

• Knowledge of Pure Storage

• Proficiency in Python and Perl scripting

• Ansible / automation

• Production environments and MCO

Your profile

• Bac +2 to Bac +5 in computing or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years' experience in storage infrastructure / SAN.

• Essential mastery of Cisco SAN.

• Initial experience on Pure Storage is expected.

• Sensitivity to automation and Python development is appreciated.

• Experience of production environments and MCO.

• Professional English essential.

• Autonomy, rigour and ability to work on critical infrastructures.

• Availability to take part in the on-call rota.
