About the role

Translated into English from French by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

LR Technologies is continuing to develop its Engineering & Systems division as part of its 2026 recruitment campaign.

Within industrial projects with a strong technological component, we are looking for an experienced Project Quality Manager to ensure quality control of demanding projects, from design through to equipment delivery, and to lead a small quality team.

You are the guarantor of the application of quality provisions throughout the project, you manage a human-sized quality team, and you act as the interface with technical teams, suppliers and the client.

Your role

As Project Quality Manager, you steer the quality of one or more projects, from preliminary studies through to equipment acceptance, and you lead a small dedicated team.

Your role consists mainly of defining, deploying and enforcing the project's quality provisions, organising and prioritising your team's activity, while acting as the interface with internal teams, suppliers and the client.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage, organise and support a small quality team on a day-to-day basis;

  • Apply and enforce the quality provisions meeting the specific requirements of the project;

  • Verify that the activities associated with the quality of the supply are defined, documented and actually carried out;

  • Prepare, where necessary, the project's quality organisation and management documents, and ensure they are complied with;

  • Verify, throughout development, that the justifications required to validate solutions are obtained and comply with the requirements expressed;

  • Ensure quality monitoring of all project stages (milestones), from preliminary studies to equipment acceptance, including integration, testing and qualification;

  • Manage procurement requirements internally;

  • Ensure quality monitoring during equipment acceptance at suppliers;

  • Take part in client progress meetings;

  • Report difficulties or blocking points encountered to management;

  • Manage internal non-conformities and the associated deviations;

  • Manage anomaly reports and change requests;

  • Carry out supplier audits, in liaison with supplier quality assurance, and manage the associated action plans;

  • Manage the configuration (definition file and equipment) of all equipment;

  • Compile the project's environmental file;

  • Draw on your knowledge of CE certification (low voltage, EMC, RoHS) and REACH regulation.

Your profile

Holding a Bac+5 qualification (engineering degree or Master's) in quality, or a general technical education with a quality specialisation, you have at least 7 years' experience in a similar project quality role in a demanding industrial environment, including proven direct team management experience.

You have good technical versatility (electrical, mechanical, automation), and you master quality analysis tools: 5M, fault tree analysis, QQOQCCP, cause-and-effect diagram.

You know how to distinguish and implement corrective, curative, preventive and improvement actions.

Beyond your technical skills, you are recognised for:

  • Your leadership and your ability to unite a team;

  • Your cross-functional perspective and your impartiality;

  • Your communication skills, humility and sense of conciliation;

  • Your rigour and analytical ability;

  • Your autonomy and sense of responsibility;

  • Your ease in exchanges with internal stakeholders, suppliers and the client;

  • Your responsiveness in the face of blocking points.

Experience in a demanding industrial quality environment (defence, aerospace, naval or a sector with strong regulatory constraints) is an advantage.

The extras

  • Experience in equipment configuration management;

  • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, EN 9100 or equivalent);

  • Experience in supplier audits;

  • Knowledge of CE certification (LV, EMC, RoHS) and REACH regulation;

  • Experience in an industrial environment with strong regulatory requirements;

  • Previous experience in a role requiring security clearance.
