Your mission

• As Head of the Application Engineering and Structural Design team for trench shoring, you are the face to our customers, engineering and planning firms and public clients, and you represent our company convincingly.
• You lead an interdisciplinary team of structural engineers/structural analysts and technical product designers and together you ensure that our customers' excavation pits are supported safely and economically.
• We see ourselves as solution and project partners for our customers. Your task is to support them from the first feasibility check through to verifiable structural analyses and project-specific construction site drawings, as well as training where applicable - bringing together your engineering knowledge and practical closeness to reliable solutions.
• You act beyond the individual order and set guard rails where projects originate: with our customers, or with engineering firms planning on behalf of municipalities, as well as with the bodies that tender site supervision.
• Together with your team, you are a valued point of contact within the company, bring the strengths of our shoring systems early into planning, specifications and order processing, and deliberately develop the know-how further - with a clear focus on actively supporting Sales.
• Together with your team, you develop the medium-term market launch from Germany into important European markets and shape an area that connects technology, market and people, with freedom for your own ideas and a tangible impact on company success.

Your profile

• You hold a completed Master's or Diplom degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on building/civil engineering.
• You have several years of professional experience in structural engineering, ideally in trench shoring, in an engineering firm or with a manufacturer or construction company focused on civil engineering, as well as several years of experience leading a team.
• Ideally you are listed in the register of qualified structural engineers of the Ingenieurkammer-Bau NRW or hold a construction submission authorisation.
• You can draw on proven collaboration with engineering firms and public clients.
• You are confident using CAD software and handle MS Office applications with ease.
• You have practical knowledge of trench shoring systems, their use on site, and sound knowledge of specifications and technical drawings/calculations.
• You have experience and enthusiasm for delivering technical presentations and training for internal colleagues as well as customers.
• You persuade on equal terms with civil engineers, technicians and other relevant stakeholders in the specialist area.
• You speak German to negotiation level, English at a very good level, and ideally bring further language skills, e.g. French.
