We are looking for a Deputy Project Manager to Trafikverket.

This is a consultant assignment. Place of posting is optional between Örebro or Norrköping.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places great demands on flexibility and collaborative ability.

The assignment

The assignment concerns a deputy project manager who will work within two separate road projects with a larger public actor in transport infrastructure. The same consultant will work on both projects.

One project covers Väg 50 Nykyrka-Brattebro backe and is planned to include procurement and design, followed by several years of construction. The other project concerns Väg 26 A9 Harberget with construction during 2027.

The consultant will be part of the project organisation and contribute to ensuring the projects are carried out time- and cost-efficiently and with as little disruption as possible

Duties

Lead and coordinate parts of the road projects through the design and production stages.

Work with design management and production management within larger road contracts.

Monitor project progress, time, economy and quality.

Coordinate the project's various technical disciplines and other affected parties.

Take part in the handling and coordination of stormwater solutions and stormwater ponds.

Take part in the implementation of cast-in-place concrete structures over watercourses.

Handle and coordinate wildlife measures and wildlife crossings.

Coordinate utility relocations with external network owners.

Handle work in complex urban environments, including bus stops and roundabouts.

Work with road construction and widening of roads for new traffic lanes in a trafficked environment.

Identify and report deviations, risks and conditions that may affect project delivery.

Contribute to cost control and identify possible cost-saving and efficiency-enhancing solutions.

Take part in project meetings and collaborate with the client's project organisation and other actors.

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

At least 10 years of work experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry relating to road projects. The experience must not be older than 15 years.

Supervisory role refers to project manager, deputy project manager, assignment manager, construction manager, design manager or equivalent.

Experience as design manager for road projects with turnkey contracts and a total project sum over SEK 1 billion. The experience must not be older than 5 years.

Experience as construction manager or deputy production project manager in turnkey contracts with mainly road construction and a total project budget over SEK 500 million. The experience must not be older than 5 years.

Experience as construction manager or deputy production project manager in construction involving road widening for new traffic lanes in a trafficked environment with AADT over 10,000. The experience must not be older than 10 years.

Supervisory experience in stormwater management and construction of stormwater ponds. The experience must not be older than 5 years.

Supervisory experience in construction of cast-in-place concrete structures over watercourses. The experience must not be older than 5 years.

Supervisory experience in wildlife measures including wildlife crossings. The experience must not be older than 5 years.

Supervisory experience in coordinating utility relocations with external network owners. The experience must not be older than 5 years.

Supervisory experience in complex urban environments including construction of bus stops and roundabouts. The experience must not be older than 5 years.

Completed training and practical experience in BAS-P and BAS-U. The training must not be older than 5 years.

Completed training and practical experience in ABK 09.

Completed training and practical experience in ABT 06.

Completed training and practical experience in AMA Anläggning.

Certification under TDOK 2018:0371 APV, at least level 3.0. The training must not be older than 5 years.

Knowledge of information security and confidentiality.

Fluent Swedish, spoken and written.
